Outward Bound...
Alone...
CHS...
Many opportunities I have missed, and many that I haven't fulfilled...
One of my many relationships that would've been better if it were not for certain people...
However, that year was wonderful, and I enjoyed every second of it...
I still remember the times when we were running around class, chit-chatting...
The fun we had together, the pain we experienced...
We cared, we shared...
Even if there were some annoying specimens around... :)
Now what do I do after such a fun-filled year?
Urrgh, you won't wanna know... :P
Anyway, hope you all enjoy the hols, and don't worry about next year.
That is, unless you have 'B-classphobia'... :)
I still remember the time when I told Ren Ming my biggest secret...
Haiz...
It is now officially not a secret anymore.
Someone reading this must be feeling inferior by now...
Well, those were the days...
But no matter how annoying he was...
I just couldn't seem to stop talking to him... (Pleeeeease don't get me wrong...)
Now, I'm being torn between A and B...
Which is what makes me nervous.
I can't do anything now, except hope and pray...
That all will go my way. :)
Cheers! ^^

RM 50 Notes In Time...
Well, so it seems, but one cannot be used yet.
I shall explain as you admire the pictures... ^^
This is the normal RM 50 bank note you see everyday...
However, only a few notice something about the 50 Ringgit...
It is a mixture of blue and gray,
which some may think of it as the darker version of the 5 Ringgit...
Which is, a plain green.
At the back, you may see an oil rig.
That, is the Petronas Oil Platform.
For some clueless person's information (FCPI)...
^^
This bank note, along with the others you see everyday, is in the third generation.
Which can be seen by the back of the RM 100 note...
Which shows the technology of Proton,
Malaysia's sole international car producer.
Alright, without further delay, I now introduce to you:
The 1998 Commonwealth Games bank note!!!!!
Remember when Malaysia hosted the games?
Now that's when this note came into production.
Notice the note is in yellow and green...
Plus the Commonwealth sign engraved on the reverse side of the note...
And the words: Kuala Lumpur 98, XVI Commonwealth Games below it...
And finally, the Bukit Jalil Sports Complex.
At the obverse, it features the usual first Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the right...
And also the Kuala lumpur city skyline with prominent landmarks in the centre.
The Commonwealth Games Look Programme features the stylise butterfly symbol...
And the gold colored Optical Variable Device (OVD),
with the first Yang di-Pertuan Agong in the clear window on the left.
If I were to explain more, it would diminish time, so let's just say that there are only very few of them left, and some selling for more than twice its price, sokeep an eye on that.
Now, we shall move on to the future, which is:
The new Rm 50!
Now let's hear a little bit of 2008 history...
In early 2008, the Bank released newly-designed RM50 banknote, which according to the Bank, were to enter general circulation beginning January 30 2008. Earlier, 20,000 more such notes with special packaging were distributed by the bank on December 26, 2008. There is no currently official word on new designs for notes of other denominations.
The newly designed RM50 banknote retains the predominant color of green-blue, but is designed in a new theme, dubbed the "National Mission", expressing the notion of Malaysia "[moving] the economy up the value chain", in accordance to Malaysia's economic transformation to higher value-added activities in agriculture, manufacturing and services sectors of the economy. The dominant intaglio portrait of the first Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tunku Abdul Rahman, is retained on the right and the national flower, the hibiscus, is presented in the center on the obverse of the note. Design patterns from songket weaving, which are in the background and edges of the banknote, are featured to reflect the traditional Malay textile handicraft and embroidery. The first 50 million pieces of the new RM50 banknote features Malaysia's first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, at the historic declaration of Malaya's independence, and the logo of the 50th Anniversary of Independence on the reverse.
Security features on the banknote include a watermarked portrait of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, a security thread, micro letterings, fluorescent elements visible only under ultravoilet light, a multi colored latent image which changes color when viewed at different angles, and a holographic stripe at the side of the note and a image that is visible only via a moiré effect to prevent counterfeiting using photocopiers. So there you have it. I just decided to do this because when rummaging through my stuff taken from my old house, I found two of those 1998 Commonwealth Bank notes.
And so, I thank you all for reading this, and hope you give a comment on this article.
P.S: This article is 80% genuine, considering that the description of the new RM 50 bank note was copied from Wikipedia™.
Oh, and did I mention that I have a scanner at home? ^^
Another Day... (again...)

The new Proton MPV!!!
The chassis reveals quite a bit about the car. There is also a model of the interior hidden in a box with holes cut into it, much like the peekaboo promo that Proton did for its previous two models. The following are what I gathered on the MPV:
Exterior
- The overall shape is like the Toyota Wish but the rear section of the roof does not slope down slightly like the Wish to improve headroom for the third row.
- Tail lamps use LED and have a vertical design extending from the top to down, unlike the Wish’s which do not extend into the D pillar. The tail lamps are slimmer at the top but curve out a little at the bottom, similar to the Volvo XC90’s design. The signal lamps in the light cluster are positioned towards the top for better visibility. You can actually see this in the previously revealed sketch and the teaser video above.
- There is a wave line on the side profile of the MPV.
- Regular swing doors instead of sliding doors.
- The spare tyre is installed outside under the chassis instead of kept in the car so that you can get access to it easily when the luggage space is occupied.
Interior
- The peekaboo box revealed a two-tone beige interior, but sources in Proton say the colour of the interior has not been finalized. It may be either beige or grey.
- Luggage space is not that great with the third row of seats in place, but can fit one large golf bag. This means balik kampung with 7 people loaded and luggage for 7 will be a challenge.
- Second row splits 60:40 while the third row is a 50:50 split. The seats fold flat.
- Interior roof height is designed to be quite decent to accommodate people who want to ride with songkoks and turbans.
- The shifter uses a gated shift and is dashboard-mounted rather than mounted between the front two seats, a common modern trend with MPV-like vehicles.
- The in-car entertainment is a 2-DIN unit. There are options for a DVD player with an LCD display for the movie mounted at the second row roof area. There is also an option in the future for GPS (Global Positioning System) navigation.
- The 2-DIN head unit is at the top of the center dash area below the aircond vents, and below it comes the air conditioning controls which are three knobs arranged in a triangle shape. Below that is the shifter.
- There are air conditioners blowers for the second and third row situation at the top left and right of the cabin roof (near the grip handles). Proton source says after testing this produced the best airflow.
- There is no armrest between the front two seats but the armrest is instead a fold-down type integrated into the seat itself.
Chassis
- The wheelbase of the chassis is estimated to be more than 2,700mm but less than 2,800mm. In comparison, the Honda Stream has a wheelbase of 2740mm, the Wish is 2,750mm, the Innova 2,750mm, the Livina 2600mm, and the Mazda5 2750mm.
- The front suspension design uses MacPherson struts and the rear design uses a torsion beam to minimize suspension system intrusion into cabin.
- The front end is designed, supplied and assembled as a single module for weight reduction and ease of installation to minimize QC problems.
- The MPV is said to have very good crash safety design from Proton internal crash tests. A few MPVs will be sent for official crash testing and rating soon.
So there you have it. If you want to look at the interior and chassis for yourself you can head to the Proton Technology Week event. The event happens at the Proton plant in Shah Alam. On the KESAS highway heading towards Klang, turn left after the Center of Excellence and then turn left into the Proton plant. I here have a few sample pictures of the new Proton, but not sure whether it's real or not.
Oh well, the competition for the MPV name is over... All I hope is the winner won't be 'Proton Kangkung, Proton Tauke or Proton Siau-Kia. =P
Holiday...
Why, life without school just isn't my type! (Well, there are a few good things about it...)
"How does everybody feel?" I wonder... or "What are they doing now?".
Funny how we humans think in such a complicated way when everybody is doing fine.
Oh well...
There was one thing which really made me jump today (You wouldn't imagine...).
I had a slight pain in the stomach for three consecutive days, and so I decided to visit the doctor.
We went to Subang Medical Center, which was quite far from my house, the reason being that there's a very good doctor there named Dr. Yin (I shall not provide the full name to avoid being sued...).
And so, after a few tests, he confirmed that I had appendicitis!
Fatal as it sounds, I kept a straight face...
He asked me to visit a surgeon straight away for immediate surgery, but my mother objected...
Well, it's just a hole in the stomach, no big deal...
And so, after minutes, we decided to see another doctor...
We went to Pantai Medical Center for another checkup...
And while we were making a reservation, it seemed that at thirteen, I was still too young to go to a normal gastroenterologist, which the minimum age is fourteen and recommended a pediatrician instead!
I felt that my self-dignity was slowly diminishing...
And when we got there, the doctor left!
That was because my mother didn't make any reservation at all!
So we tried to look for other pediatrician gastroenterologists, but to no avail.
And that's when mum decided to go to an adult gastro (short form).
After going there, they said that we can call the pediatrician to come back to the hospital!
With this havoc on, I allegedly forgot that I'm at risk of getting my appendix cut off...
And so after many minutes, the pediatrician arrived.
He seemed quite a nice man, and the results were nice too.
I didn't have appendicitis, all I had was gastric!
It's dangerous too, but not as fatal.
And so, I went home with happy feelings...
On the 28 of this month, I'm going to Lumut for an outward bound trip.
It's estimated to be ten days.
So don't expect from me.
No handphones, communication devices or cameras are allowed,
So don't expect a picture either... :)
And how are you guys?
Messenger me, send an e-mail, or call me.
I'm on 24/7. =P
My new playlist!
Feel free to check it out (Although I already set it to 'Auto-play'...)
They may not have your favorite songs in it, but these are the ones which I think really describes my personality (as an old hag who only listens to old songs...) :)
P.S: You may hear quite a lot of Jim Brickman songs, and maybe it's because I just found his old CD in my house one sunny day :P. Don't get me wrong, I've listened to them many times since I was three. :)
